Darkest Before the Dawn
Tension has been high around the Garage since the introduction of OG Paint and Body but it seems like we’re finally getting into a rhythm. It’s not easy building a company of the caliber we are aiming for with minimal resources. Sometimes all you can do is keep your head down and push forward. I have to take a sentence out to show our appreciation for our loyal customers. You guys allow us to keep doing what we love and when you come back for seconds it lets us know that y’all love what we do. OK, enough of that… on to business. I apologize in advance for the lack of pics this installment.
The big project is Khanh’s (formerly Anis’) LS430 rebuild. I’m not going to bore you with too many pics of prep work but if you want to see detailed coverage of the build check out the build thread on the Refined Elegance forum. Thanks to Jason at Presidential Auto Glass (Humble, TX) for cutting out the windshield and rear glass.
Not much detail work yet but we did do a custom frenched emblem on the trunk lid.
Chris at Chris’ Car Doc (Humble, TX) handled the custom alignment as usual.
In other news…
Gio’s Futura Design LS430 build is also underway. After not seeing the kind of progress he was expecting he pulled his rear Vlene bumper from another body shop and brought it down to Houston for some custom mods. Pics as progress develops.
We have also been working on a couple projects for Thomas (AKA speedaddict). He dropped a few pieces of for water transfer printing (unfortunately I didn’t have time to take legit pics) and we are also working on some custom LED tails (build thread on RE forum) in preparation for WekFest.
Anup’s GS is also back for some tweaks. Now sporting an ISF blue paint job and some body work; OG has been commissioned to replumb the car, install a new tank setup, and do some wiring for his new dual round projector fogs.
